caro amico
caro amico,
ho ancora in mente
il nostro miglior ricordo
la grande sfilata e le luci
e tutti i fuochi artificiali e le bande musicali
sotto una estiva Luna di marmo
e il nostro viaggio giù in quella valle sconosciuta e oscura
io e te in sella a bici rotte
ci stanno aspettando tutte!
avevamo declamato il giorno prima
caro amico
come va?
ma so cantare serenate
e posso disegnare
prima dell'alba rinasceremo
attraverso questa aspra pioggia acida
e così sià
spietato e codardo cielo di periferia
caro amico
risposte ancora non lo so
e tu cosa sai?
...............
dear friend
how are you?
nothing new on this clod of mud we call home
isolated as we are under this gray suburban sky
dear friend,
I still remember that best memory of ours
the great parade and the lights
and all the fire works and marching bands
under a marble Summer moon
and our journey down below in that dark valley unknown
you and I riding broken bikes
you and me through the night suburban fireflies
eager to get to the village on the hill
where the big festival rumbled and roared
and all the coolest games and the most beautiful girls
they are all waiting for us!
we had declaimed the day before
dear friend
how are you?
I have grown or aged I don't know
someone had promised me I would, but
answers I still I do not own
although
I can sing serenades
and I can draw
somehow I will paint for you a day of friendship just like ours long ago
and send it over wherever you may be
dear friend
the road is still long
lost as we are in the riddles of life
distant and fragile in this saving isolation nightmare....
day will come
we will laugh again
before dawn we will be born again
through this bitter acid rain
and come what may
ruthless and coward suburban sky
dear friend
answers I still I don't know
how about you?
how are you?

querido amigo
respuestas todavía no tengo
pero puedo cantar serenatas
y puedo dibujar
despiadado y cobarde cielo suburbano
querido amigo
respuestas aún yo no sé
y tu?
Marco Bo
