I remember one summer
distant and mythical
your many insistent and precise questions about human beings and the world
and my answers and verdicts so imaginative and amazing
like the magicians and of those suburban circuses
that stay one night and leave you with the anxiety of the unknown
on their way
such were my answers and so were your eyes amazed and pleased
and the happiness, the satisfaction painted on your face for all the discoveries and the surprises,
a hill was our kingdom and a wood stick was the sceptre of command,
we were the only emperors of the entire world!
you know dear friend, as time goes on and unroll the cycles of the seasons in our soul and on our skin,
more I am convinced that a childish summer carefree and bright
a summer spent rolling through the vineyards the fields and hills with a sincere friend
is worth more than any legendary treasure,
is worth an entire life
