tomorrow is already in us 
as a slow run 
a prayer 

tomorrow is only one step away
one step in any direction, no matter which
one step at a time 
we do not know anyhing else at the moment 
under this sky under this Sun 

tomorrow is already in us 
in one step and a smile, the only currency 
in our pockets we can spend today
and just like so we shall be saved, we shall live 
with a smile and one free step at the time because 
tomorrow is already in us 
and so be it
