each one of us owns deficiencies that does not know

each one of us owns deficiencies that does not know
each one of us has got empty spaces that does not want

and the more we struggle and we collect useless things
and we accumulate wood panels and reinforce the walls with long nails embedded in

and the greater are the spaces and separations, the  cracks, the gaps and the isolation

the more we close the door to feel safe
and the more we feel alone,
alone

each one of us owns deficiencies that does not know
each one of us has got empty spaces that does not want
but I have no other words right now,
except that this is no time to be afraid

this is the time to open the doors and windows of the heart in every direction
this is the time to love and transfigure our inner empy spaces and failures
into new life

because through those depths, those cracks, those spaces the quiet heat will arrive
the sun will come with the good season
and during the hardest winter
the embrace of a good friend will warm us up and save us yet and again
and so be it

nothing else we need right now
each one of us owns deficiencies that does not know
each one of us has got empty spaces that does not want
but once we declare them, we consider and sing them into the wind and to those all around and next to us,
we will be already halfway home
half way to salvation,
half way to the  intersection with our new life
and so be it
