the crossing

not what will be
but what has already happened 
not what we are not 
but how much of us there is in the portion of time we have spent up to now 
not  delaying and waiting for a better time and for a more comfortable position 
but how much we've made a cozy time for those around us,
 for those who love us 
and especially how much of all this we are able to consider and to soak in our hearts 
and serve as a good tea for the desired friends,
 like fresh bread in the morning for those around us 
this is our crossing
this is our beginning and our end 
now and foverer
and so be it
