with this thought in mind I woke up today,
 still I can hear a voice invoking my tired eyes

- on every single second flowing on the history dial
 under these grey suburban sky
life shows to all beings
 that it is the only prayer worth living

life as it happens
 a bitter sweet outrage walking
through the cracks and curves of this immense empty space
lost in a corner of the universe

only life
such a little story
with a great mistery
hidden between its thousand unknown folds

for all we know

enough time for an embrace
that unites and separates us
at the same time
