fragments of filaments lost in space

we worry about the beginning and the end
of which nothing we know
instead of living this right fragment of time that contains us all

we worry about the beginning and the end
and we struggle for alleged high ideals, creeds, myths and metaphysic
and we do not give to drink and to eat to this here and now

we worry about the beginning and the end
of which nothing we know
and we deny the moment
screaming under this gray suburban sky

we worry about the beginning and the end
of which nothing we know
and we deny time to our existence

will we, fragments of filaments lost in space,
ever learn to mend the thin veil of our lives here and now?
will we ever learn?
