a map for the treasure
the purpose of the map is to explain and describe life and the whole world
as well as the corner of the Piazza del Campo where there is a traffic light, a stairway and a walkway
and further on along the road a perfect place to spend a whole life in the sunlight
the corner of the square is like a channel and people always in a hurry run through as a raging river in flood
on the right you will find the old Covered Market and on your left a shop in complete chaos because of the seasonal sales
do not get distracted , do not turn your head elsewhere ,
go straight further on with determination
look carefully for a clue near the Alpini monument ,
the feather on the hat of man on the pedestal
will show you the way
the right path
follow that sign and you will come to a square that will look like a circus
that is the children square
when you arrive there, look for a bench
if you do not find one free
share one with somebody passing by
sit in the sun, stay there and observe for hours
hours and hours ..
sit there to contemplate the children running, laughing , shouting
and playing
and a elderly couple , Giovanni and Giacometta walking hand in hand,
looking for a place to sit and enjoy a Gianduja ice cream and a good glass of wine or orange soda
and then the rides the carousels, the fire-eaters , the acrobats and the jugglers !
stop there
stay there in peace to contemplate the world and the situation
all day
there is nothing else to look for in this life
the treasure is all there
a bench in the sunlight
in the first row of the children square
and so be it
