under this grey suburban sky
it is not time that takes you away
but the usual old and insolent show of force

 today you bring the answers they tell you

tomorrow you bring the controversy they will tell you

 and if you bring a little evidence they will tell you

but the "half empty glass" people
who try to spill your half full on the ground

it is never too late to learn how to drink that glass
 far away from the crazy crowd and before the start
of the old usual and insolent show of force
which woud leave arid your heart
as a forever deserted forest
