under this grey suburban sky,
on a fine day
a day like any other,
listening to hunger and thirst
and then waiting
a little more
on a fine day
a day like any other,
being grateful to your hands and your feet
and rejoicing about the sense of your own limits
of the natural boundaries and about the cycle of the seasons
on a fine day,
a day like any other
abandoning the wall,
the barricade
leaving unattended that artificial reef
and not having to feel forced
to confirm to the world whether it is wrong
or right
on a fine day,
one day different from all other,
one day before it is too late,
stopping to take care
of your heart,
contemplate it
and then
read it out aloud,
interpret it
and between the cracks of this asphalt and concrete floor
of that heat
living
a little more
