how difficult is to put everything together

I'm not always out of time  
my words sometimes arrive after me 
or they are already there drying under the sun
even before I even start talking
 
how difficult  is to put everything together
  the right time the right spirit, the right courage 
it is an issue for philosophers, geniuses , artists
heroes at least for one day

 after all that is the research
that lasts for a lifetime
 under these gray suburban sky 

 rust mud cement slamming doors
 high gates barbed wire and fences
how difficult is to put everything together 
 yet we try
 we go on
and come what may
